In his first North American solo show, Taiwanese contemporary artist Yuan Goang-Ming’s timely visions of global and domestic unease offer a relatable search for peace and safety. Both startling and hopeful, Yuan’s critically acclaimed video and installation works provide a dreamlike look at an increasingly unsettling world. Join Nicole Lugtu, Major Gifts Officer at the Asian Art Museum for an in-depth Tour this new exhibition and enjoy a private reception following the tour.
Yuan Goang-Ming: Everyday War is organized by the Asian Art Museum. The lead sponsor for the exhibition is The Fred Eychaner Charitable Fund. Additional support is provided by the Taiwan Academy of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles and the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan.
